One evening, we were wandering via the dense wooded area, attempting to find sport. The twilight had just descended, casting eerie shadows among the bushes, whilst we heard the sound of frantic footsteps drawing close. Out of the gloom emerged an antique guy, jogging closer to us with worry etched on his face.
As he neared us, he stumbled to a stop, gasping for breath. His eyes were wide with terror. “A ghost… A ghost… It’s going to kill me!” he cried, pointing towards the darkish wooded area in the back of him.
We may want to never have imagined that our peaceful searching ride could change into an stumble upon with the unknown.
The old guy, trembling from head to toe, appeared at the verge of disintegrate. One of our friends stepped forward to regular him and reassured, “Don’t fear, sir. We are right here now. No ghost can damage you even as we’re with you. Please, inform us lightly wherein you noticed this ghost.”
The old man, still shaken, recounted his ordeal, “I became collecting firewood close to the antique abandoned mansion while a ghost appeared from the shadows and grabbed me. I somehow broke free and ran here.”
We exchanged uneasy glances and determined to research the mansion. After plenty persuasion, the vintage man reluctantly agreed to guide us to the region. The journey was treacherous, with the moonlight slightly piercing through the thick cover above, however ultimately, we reached the looming silhouette of the mansion.
“That’s where the ghost came from,” the old man whispered, pointing at the decrepit building. We asked him to wait outside as we ventured in.
The mansion turned into historical, with crumbling walls and a roof that threatened to cave in. The air was thick with the scent of decay, and the silence changed into almost deafening. We became on our flashlights, illuminating the decaying interior. The beams of mild found out peeling paint and crumbling plaster, while the old wood beams creaked ominously. Bats stirred from their roosts, their wings flapping as they darted thru the darkness, adding to the eerie ecosystem.
We scoured the mansion, but there was no signal of any ghost. Just as we were approximately to desert our seek, we noticed a narrow staircase leading to the attic. We ascended cautiously, each step groaning below our weight. As we stepped onto the attic floor, the historical wood creaked ominously, as though the entire structure became maintaining its breath.
Suddenly, from the shadows, a decide shrouded in darkness lunged at considered one of our friends, wielding a makeshift membership. The blow landed with a sickening thud, and our buddy crumpled to the floor.
I rushed to assist, handiest for the discern to swing the membership at me. I ducked, narrowly warding off the strike, whilst some other companion tackled the assailant to the floor. Despite its ferocious resistance, we controlled to subdue the figure, tying it securely.
The old man, seeing the figure, screamed, “That’s the ghost!” He tried to run, but we calmed him down, assuring him that the danger had passed.
Dragging the figure into the light, we realized it was no supernatural being but a man, covered in dirt and wearing tattered clothes, giving him the appearance of a ghost. We took him to the nearest police station, where the truth came to light. The man was a fugitive, hiding in the mansion to escape the law. To survive, he had been ambushing travelers, stealing their provisions. The old man had been his latest target, but his plans were foiled.
In the end, the ghostly terror of the mansion was nothing more than a desperate criminal, whose reign of fear ended that night in the forest.

A Terrifying Night in the Forest جنگل میں ایک خوفناک رات
Ek shaam hum ghane jungle mein shikar ki talaash mein ghoom rahe thay. Sham dhal chuki thi, aur darakhton ke darmiyan ajeeb sa sayaa chha gaya tha, jab humein achanak tez kadmon ki awaaz sunayi di. Andhere se ek boodha aadmi bhaagte hue humari taraf aya, uske chehre par khauf tha.
Jab wo humare paas pohanch gaya, to wo huffte hue ruk gaya. Uski aankhon mein dar tha. “Bhoot… bhoot… wo mujhe maar daalega!” usne jungle ki taraf ishara karte hue kaha.
Hum kabhi soch bhi nahi sakte thay ke humari yeh pur sukoon shikar ki mansooba bandi ek ajeeb o ghareeb haalat mein tabdeel ho jayegi.
Boodha aadmi kaanp raha tha, aur aisa lag raha tha ke wo kisi bhi waqt gir jayega. Humare ek dost ne aage badh kar usay sambhala aur tasalli di, “Fikar mat karo, baba ji. Hum yahan hain. Koi bhoot aapko nuksaan nahi pohancha sakta. Bara-e-karam, humein aram se batao ke aapne bhoot ko kahan dekha tha.”
Boodha aadmi abhi bhi kaanp raha tha aur apni kahani sunane laga, “Main purane khanjar ke paas lakdiyan jama kar raha tha jab ek bhoot saaye se nikla aur mujhe pakar liya. Kisi tarah main uski girift se nikal kar yahan bhaag aya.”
Hum ne ek doosre ki taraf bechaini se dekha aur us khanjar ka jaiza lene ka faisla kiya. Bohat samjhane ke baad, boodha aadmi hamare saath us jagah le jaane par raazi ho gaya. Safar mushkil tha, chandni zameen tak mushkil se pohanch rahi thi, lekin aakhir kar hum us khanjar ke saamne pohanch gaye.
“Wohi jagah hai jahan se bhoot aya tha,” boodha aadmi ne dheemi awaaz mein kaha. Humne usay bahar rukne ka kaha aur khud andar chale gaye.
Khanjar bohat purani tha, diwarein girne ke qareeb thi aur chhat kisi bhi waqt gir sakti thi. Hawa mein sard busi hui thi aur har taraf sannata tha. Humne apni torchen jalaien aur andar ka jaiza lena shuru kiya. Deewaroon ka paint utra hua tha aur purane lakdi ke beams se aawaz aa rahi thi. Chamgadar jaag uthin aur andhere mein udne lagin, jo mahol ko aur bhi khaufnaak bana raha tha.
Humne poori building ka jaiza liya lekin kisi bhoot ka koi nishaan nahi tha. Jab hum wapas jaane ka soch rahe thay, to humein ek tang seedhi nazar aayi jo chhat ki taraf ja rahi thi.
Uske haath mein ek lakdi thi jisse usne hamare dost ke sir par vaar kiya. Wo zameen par gir gaya. Main uski madad ke liye aage bada, lekin us shakhs ne mere upar lakdi se vaar kar diya. Main neeche jhuk gaya aur uska waar khali gaya. Ek aur dost ne aage badh kar us shakhs ko pakad liya. Humne usay mazbooti se bandh diya.
Boodha aadmi us shakhs ko dekhte hi chilla utha, “Yeh hai woh bhoot!” aur bhaagne ki koshish ki, lekin humne usay tasalli di ke ab wo khatar se door hai.
Jab humne us shakhs ko roshni mein dekha to maloom hua ke wo koi bhoot nahi balki ek aadmi tha, jo dhool mein latha hua aur phate purane kapde pehne hue tha, jis wajah se wo bhoot jaisa lag raha tha. Humne usay qareebi police station pohanchaya, jahan asal baat saamne aayi. Wo ek mujrim tha jo kanoon se bachne ke liye us khanjar mein chup gaya tha. Wo musafiron ko loot kar unka samaan chhinh leta tha. Boodha uska aakhri shikar tha, lekin uski yeh chalakiyan nakam ho gayi.
Aakhir mein, khanjar ki bhoot wali dehshat sirf ek bechara mujrim tha, jiski khaufnaak hukoomat us raat jungle mein khatam ho gayi.
