وہ خوب قہقہے بچپن کی بارشوں کے یار
اور اب تو آئی کے برسات گذر جاتی ہے
بارش ہو رہی تھی کمبخت یادیں تازه کر گئی
اپنی ہر ایک بونده کا حساب مجھ سے لے گئی
پیڑوں کی طرح حسن کی بارش میں نہالوں
بادل کی طرح جھوم کے گھر آؤ کسی دن
گذاری ہے اسی حالت میں ساری زندگی ہم نے
سلگتی ، روح جھلساتی ہوئی سوچوں کی بارش میں
اس نے بارش میں بھی کھڑکی کھول کے دیکھا نہیں
بھیگنے والوں کو کل کیا کیا پریشانی ہوئی
اب بھی برسات کی راتوں میں بدن ٹوٹتا ہے
جاگ اٹھتی ہیں عجب خواہشیں انگڑائی کی
ٹوٹ پڑتی تھیں گھٹائیں جن کی آنکھیں دیکھ کر
وہ بھری برسات میں ترسے ہیں پانی کے لیے
